Butts & Badges
Wear a Pin. Start a Conversation. Break the Stigma.
We’re here to talk about butts—because while they get plenty of attention, colorectal and anal cancers don’t. These cancers are highly preventable and treatable when caught early, yet stigma and misinformation keep too many people from talking about them.
March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month, and March 21 is Anal Cancer Awareness Day. Cheeky Charity is rallying clinics, LGBTQ+ centers, and medical professionals across the country to put their butts where their badges are by wearing a Cheeky Charity awareness pin throughout March.
These small but mighty pins spark conversations that break the stigma, increase awareness, and help save lives.
Why It Matters
Colorectal cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death in the U.S., and cases are rising in adults under 50. Many don’t know they’re at risk.
Anal cancer cases are increasing, particularly in LGBTQ+ populations, yet awareness and screening rates remain low.
Stigma and misinformation prevent people from seeking care, but a simple conversation can change that.
When you wear a Cheeky Charity pin, you’re making it easier for people to ask questions, learn about screening options, and feel empowered to take control of their health.
