Cheeky Charity
Cheeky Charity is the first national nonprofit dedicated to colorectal and anal cancer awareness and prevention in the LGBTQ+ community.
Our mission is simple: to normalize conversations about butt health through education, humor, and community, because everyone deserves affirming, informed care.
Our focus areas:
Awareness in LGBTQ+ Spaces
We bring cancer prevention into spaces built for celebration, visibility, and connection. Our booths turn curiosity into care through education that’s accessible, inclusive, and stigma-free. In 2025, Cheeky Charity showed up at more than 45 Pride events nationwide, reaching tens of thousands of LGBTQ+ community members with lifesaving information.
Support Services
No one should face caner alone. Especially in a system that wasn’t built with them in mind. Our support groups offer affirming, identity-centered spaces where LGBTQ+ patients and survivors can connect, heal, and be fully themselves. In 2025, we hosted 25 support group sessions and launched new identity-specific meetups to expand access to community care.
Community-Led Cancer Prevention
Our campaigns are built with the community, not just for it. We use humor, honesty, and representation to start conversations that too often get avoided. From pins to pop-ups, we create tools that make prevention feel human. In 2025, we had more than 1,000 Butts and Badges participants, sparking conversations about early screening and better care.
Advocacy for Inclusivity
When LGBTQ+ people aren’t counted, they aren’t protected. We push for research, policy, and healthcare systems that reflect real lives, not assumptions. In 2025 we launched the 2SLGBTQ+ Cancer Needs Survey to capture critical data and drive equitable change nationwide.
We operate where healthcare fails to reach and we make conversations approachable when medicine makes them uncomfortable.
